Beyond Praise : The impact of our words🗣️ When Praise Helps And Hurts 📌 While it is a commonly held belief that praise is a crucial part of motivation, it can send either a positive or a negative message to others. In other words, every word can tell people how to think about themselves. In this blog, I would like to discuss the hidden messages from some parents and teachers beyond their compliments. But before we go through this topic, let’s divide these messages into two groups: Fixed Mindset and Growth Mindset. 📌 Children’s Perspective on Their Parents’ Messages: Generally, most children love to be praised for their intelligence and talent because it gives them a boost.
